Saske

A dynamic selector, accomplished producer and owner of a quickly growing, exciting new record label - Elemental Records. Saske has spent the last decade mastering his craft in the studio and behind the decks.

Originally from the north of the UK, Saske is currently based in Bali.

His widely varied influences range from House and Techno to Jazz, Blues and Soul. Saske tries to incorporate a variety of different sounds into his productions and DJ sets, whilst still maintaining his instantly identifiable signature style of melodic swinging grooves.

He first learnt his trade behind the decks with a number of residencies in Sheffield - UK. But then really took his progression to the next level upon moving to Melbourne - Australia, where he secured residencies at notable parties ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘The Hideaway Club’, as well as gaining the opportunity to play a number of times at the iconic ‘Revolver Upstairs’ venue, supporting artists such as Ben Rau.

His time in Melbourne also led to a year long weekly residency on Kiss FM Australia, hosting his own show ‘The Green Room’.

More recently he has been playing a number of parties in Athens - Greece and also had the opportunity to play at Distortion Week festival in Copenhagen - Denmark, playing at the famous ‘Culture Box’ venue in support of Dubfire.

Saske’s previous releases have garnered support from the likes of Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin and Josh Baker to name a few. And now at the head of his own record label, (with support also from Jamie Jones, Joris Voorn, Steve Lawler and Ilario Alicante) this year is shaping up to be a big one.
